Saddleback College Receives $2 Million State Innovation Award to Assist Veterans in Degree Completion

Mission Viejo, CA – The California Department of Finance awarded Saddleback College $2 million under the Awards for Innovation in Higher Education program for the college’s Pathway to Completion – Veteran Articulation Track (V-CAT) initiative. The state awards recognize innovations in California’s colleges that help reduce the time it takes students to complete degrees and credentials and/or make college more affordable.

Art Exhibit by Emeritus Students & Faculty

The 17th annual Emeritus Institute Fine Arts Exhibition in the LRC features selected and recent works on canvas, panel, paper and mixed media surfaces by Emeritus Institute Fine Arts students and faculty artist working in the areas of Plein Air painting, Intermediate/Advanced Oil and acrylic painting, drawing, ceramics, photography and design classes and artworks from an array of academic emeritus fine arts and crafts classes. The exhibition will be on display through Friday, May 12, 2017 on the LRC 3rd floor.

Attend a Library Workshop This Spring!

Make the Library and its resources your best friend this semester! Attend a Library Workshop and learn how to take advantage of the resources available in the library, learn strategies to make your essays better, learn how to effectively find information on the internet to cite in essays, and more! These workshops are offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays as early as 2:30 pm and as late as 7 pm. Students are encouraged to sign up for the workshops in advance, but walk-ins are welcome if space is available.
